Shiseido Tsubaki Shampoo

Bookmark and Share
I really love the quality of Japanese products and last week, me and my sister dropped by Shiseido store and combed out their products. We've bought the Tsubaki (Camelia in Japanese) shampoo for around P500.

It is known as the best-selling shampoo in Japan and we would like to test it first before buying the conditioner. I have long, damaged, thick, color-treated hair, and this shampoo made a big difference with my first use! Normally, when I use shampoo with conditioner, my hair looks soft and shiny, but I get those freakin dandruff. With continuous use of Tsubaki shampoo, I get lesser dandruff and it keeps moisture in my hair intact.

I've also discovered that one of my favorite Japanese faces, Rena Tanaka and Yukie Nakama, became an endorser of this product! Here's the tv commercial:

With my hair type, this shampoo works miraculously. I would highly recommend this product!

The Gingerbread Man - A Classic Story for Children

Bookmark and Share

An old man and an old woman live here.
They don’t have any children.
One day, the old woman makes a big gingerbread man.
He has arms, legs, and a head.
He looks like a boy!

The old woman sees the gingerbread man.
“I am happy. You are my little boy!”
But then, she hears a voice.

“I am not your boy! I am the Gingerbread Man!”
The gingerbread man speaks!
And then, he runs out of the kitchen.
The old woman is very surprised.
She shouts,“Oh, no! Come back, my little boy!”

The gingerbread man doesn’t stop.
He runs even faster! He sings a song:
“The old man can’t catch me.
The old woman can’t catch me.
I am the gingerbread man!”

He sees a cow. “Stop, gingerbread man!”
But the gingerbread man doesn’t stop.
“The old man can’t catch me. The old woman can’t catch me.
The cow can’t catch me. I am the gingerbread man!”
He keeps singing.

He sees a horse. “Stop, gingerbread man!”
But the gingerbread man doesn’t stop.
“The old man can’t catch me.
The old woman can’t catch me.
The cow can’t catch me.
The horse can’t catch me.
I am the gingerbread man!”

The old man, the old woman, the cow, and the horse all run after him.
He comes to the river!
“Oh, my god!”
“What can I do? I will get wet. I can’t swim!”
Just then a fox comes to the gingerbread man.

“Do you want to cross the river?”
“But I can’t swim!”
“That’s no problem. I can help you.
You can sit on my tail, and I will cross the river! Come on!”
The gingerbread man is glad.

He jumps on the fox’s tail.
The fox swims on.
Soon, his feet get wet.
“My feet are wet! Help me!”
“Jump on my back.”
The gingerbread man jumps on the fox’s back.
But soon, his feet get wet again.

“Come and sit my nose.”
“You are very kind! I owe you my life.”
He sits on the fox’s nose.
SNAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fox gulped the gingerbread man!

I was hired to illustrate a classic children's story book: "The Gingerbread Man" to be used in Korea, Philippines and online teaching. Though I was only given a week to rush everything, I'm really proud of my illustrations. Hopefully, this project will be published by next year! You are my favorite Mr. Gingerbread Man!

Weee~ I'm currently broke but I am so excited for Christmas. Last night, I even dreamed of opening gifts under our Christmas tree! Hahaha. We'll be celebrating Christmas in Manila and New Year at our rest house in Rizal.

A lot of errands today, but I'm happy :)What I am wearing:

Pink Cardigan: Sparkle Shop
White Polka-dot dress: Sparkle Shop
Nude Wedges: Parisian
Headband: Pink Box

Those pair of wedges are my favorite, of course, from Parisian. It's strappy and tall but it doesn't hurt my feet at all! (wait, that just rhymed!)

And the best thing about it, it's only P699.75! Visit Parisian at any SM Department Stores and check out their awesome available shoe designs.

Who doesn't love Mickey Mouse?

Bookmark and Share
Aside from Hello Kitty, I'm starting to love again different cartoon characters that we have grown accustomed to seeing on children like Elmo, Cookie Monster, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and the like. I've bought different loose cartoon shirts from bazaars lately for only P50! Great finds, isn't it? I find it a little silly and childish, but some adults really do enjoy it as well, regardless of the age.

I also have some from Sparkle Shop, like this one:

Make your casual outfit more fun~ I'm wearing a loose Mickey shirt, with P250 retail price. This is one of my best sellers and already SOLD OUT! Luckily, I was able to reserve one for myself.

Green Jacket: Sparkle Shop
Mickey Shirt: Sparkle Shop
Shorts: from bazaar
Shoes: Parisian
Hat: Camp John Hay

Disney characters simply never go out of style. These shirts are fun for both men and women  to wear in my opinion. Now, who's your favorite cartoon character? Wear your favorite one today!
