They will officially be presented in an invitational cocktail event on May 24 at Opus in Newport Mall, Resorts World Manila.

What's on my table? In2it 3 in 1 Cleansing Water

 In2it 3 in 1 Cleansing Water

This product is a makeup remover, a toner, and a moisturizer in one! What I love more about this product is that, it doesn't have a scent. Completely fragrance-free! This is a soap-free, water-textured cleanser formulated with soft, mild cleansing ingredients product.

Apply to a cotton pad and dab on skin. All traces of makeup will be lifted away and removed easily! I admit, I do whisk a little around my eye area when removing my waterproof concealer but it will prolly cause wrinkles or eye bags so don't do it! This makeup remover doesn't contain oil so no greasy feeling after application but skin is moisturized.

It has a friendly price of P269.75. Will definitely repurchase :)

In2it 2-way foundation

What's on my table?

In2it Oil Control & Oil Free
2 way Foundation, Extra Cover
with SPF 25 UVA/UVB

I've been looking for the perfect foundation for everyday use which can last long. Then I remember my in2it liquid eyeliner which last for long hours even my skin gets oily. So I visited he department store to try their foundation and I got this.

I chose the shade OCF 02 warm beige which matches my skin very well. Most of the shades available are for Asians who have light-medium skin tone.

It gives a good and smooth coverage, both dry and wet application. It doesn't cake nor smudge, even if I have oily skin. Doesn't give any breakout so far. My face doesn't oil up and no retouches needed up to 12 hours (when at office)! Outdoors, it can control oil for up to 6 hours. Having an SPF 25 is good too to protect my skin from the sun. It also gives a matte and natural finish, which is what I am looking for! Another thing is that it blends well with the concealers I am currently using, Revlon and Ellana Minerals. This product also covers blemishes quite well.

In2it is a Japanese brand, no wonder why it gives great results. The packaging is absolutely adorable and so girly! It has a metallic pink cover and it actually looks like a gadget when it's inside my bag.

In terms of price, this product is a winner. Original price is around P650. Luckily, they're on sale so I got mine for only P551.75! I will repurchase a refill as soon as I finish this pack, most definitely.

Red Ovenbird: It's just beautiful!

I just found this series of photos on the internet. I would just like to share..

It's Argentina's National Bird: Rufous Hornero. Also known as Red Ovenbird. This is totally amazing, it really made me smile. :)

They use mud / clay "oven" to create their large thick nest, usually placed on trees. Nests can be constructed in as little as 15 days but it usually takes 2-3months for them to finish it. These birds do no use the same "oven" for the succeeding breeding-seasons.

Yako Reyes: Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2011

Journey of Adelita

Yako Reyes

Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2011
May 15, 2011

The impact of rising levels of austerity and radicalism is being felt in the most unlikely corners. The continues recession is pivotal to revival of negligible clothing. It is a fundamental realignment of fashion's core values, and a reaction dressing in times of change. The movement to what is simple and basic radicalized and democratized the way people look at fashion.

For Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2011, Yako Reyes’ offering is about the cycle of life; the natural progression and migration of human being; and how the life cycle brings us back to the basics. The designer took inspiration from the heart-warming story of the Adelita, the loggerhead sea turtle, and her journey to crossing a barren area of her ocean life.

A whole collection convey a suggestive feel of modernism and minimalism, attracted by its raw, unbranded, anti-fashion status, adopted a look that destroyed established dress codes and created a logo-free, democratic – albeit often expensive – ideal of style. There is a revelation of relentless monochrome, asymmetric and intellectual vision of clothing which aims that in this year of 2011, set to reshape wardrobes of people. The suggestion of a feel-safe, nod to simplicity, unfussy, clean lines, versatile, defenselessness, uncompromising and dour looks is apparent.

Silhouettes prove streamlined and tailoring, solid, monochromatic shades of gray, brown and especially black, and generally pared-down and be responded with a contrasting inclusion of shades of myrtle green, crimson red, sapphire.

This collection includes trousers and jackets, shirts and blouses, tunics, poncho, skirts, dresses and hand bags, totes, backpacks and clutches.

Bored and Cold at Work

Boss is out of the country today so while waiting for her feedback thru email, I did some bored shots at the office!

Wearing a white Cookie Monster shirt and a red Mango cardigan to keep me warm in a chilly area like this, which makes me not conducive to work ^^

 Sad about my big eye bags ;_;

I have here some tips on how to keep myself warm and battle the cold temperatures:

1. Heater. If you don;t have one at the office, you can put hot water in your mug and hold it every 2 monutes. It's my best heating pad at my working table XD

2. Wear socks all the time. You can remove it as you leave the office.

3. Wear the cutest gloves that you have to keep your fingers warm while typing or writing!

4. Always have a hand lotion on your file cabinet. Your hands tends to be dry when you are in a cold environment.

5. Try to exercise, and bend a little in the pantry or storage area. *Good thing our pantry doesn't have a CCTV camera installed!

6. Wear a cardigan or a sweater, just what I do everyday!

Hope it helps. Happy working time!
