Check out Alexander Wangs AW 2012 collection from NYFW. It was an effortless feat of casting that obviously wowed the crowd once again. I personally think it's simple, androgynous, sporty, but fierce at the same time. Wang used fabrics like tweeds, suede, and wool knits that were waxed and lacquered to create a different effect of plasticy, shiny outwear.
It's the most literal hybrid of modern and flapper that perhaps we've seen to date. Wang’s accessories were understated enough not to steal the show – but they will no doubt steal the streets.
