Banila Co. Prime Primer and It Radiant CC Cream

It’s weekend! So I decided to go out today with light makeup. I got here Banila Co. Prime Primer Classic and It Radiant CC Cream which are both raved by other beauty bloggers worldwide. I’m all good with Benefit Poreffesional but I got curious with this one since I always see this in makeup tutorials on Youtube. I got this last year but I only got to try it recently since I keep forgetting about it.

Banila Co. Prime Primer Classic is one of their bestselling products and Get It Beauty’s No.1 primer as it ranked first in terms of Pore Cover, Texture, Natural and Long Lasting coverage.

There are 6 types available: Classic, Classic Matte, Hydrating, Hydrating Shimmer, Anti Wrinkle and Purity.

It comes in a plain white packaging with Korean texts around it. So I just searched online about its description. This product claims to make skin smooth all day, cover pores and make lines less visible. It also promises to old your makeup for a long time while preventing greasiness/dryness all throughout the day.

The bottle is made of matte acrylic and uses a pump to dispense the product. Too small but a little amount of product goes a long way so it will still last about 4-5 months if you will use it everyday. Also, it has a small cap which serves as a lock for the pump dispenser to prevent spillage whenever stored in your bag. Easy to loose, though. I prefer dispensers which you just twist to lock.

What I like about this product:
Pump packaging
Blends easily
Smooth finish
Blurs pores (just fine)
Long lasting makeup

What I don’t like:
Doesn’t control oil the whole day
Easy to lose cap
It’s a silicone primer
Expensive for its quality and size (30ml)

Now let’s move on to Banila Co. It Radiant CC Cream.

This product claims to adjust your skin tone by 2 shades lighter, gives moisture care of eco herb water, melanin care for blemishes/freckles/dark spots and creates a smooth texture using micro powder.

Like the primer, this one comes in a white glossy packaging and the matte tube also has a hygienic pump dispenser.

What I like about this product?
Smooth finish
Easy to blend
Moisturizing
Lightweight
SPF30 PA++

banila-co-6

What I don’t like about this product?
Light coverage
Pricey as well
Floral scent

Since this is a CC Cream, obviously, it wouldn’t provide enough coverage. This product is meant to offer radiance and moisture on your skin so it won’t cover dark spots and under eye circles. Still good if you’re aiming for the No Makeup Look or if you simply want a light yet blooming makeup look on a weekend.

As for me I can’t leave the house without concealer so I still applied concealer on my undereye and finished it off with a face powder.

I have read about the Banila Co. its a bit pricey.
I have the Benefit Professional and I’m happy with it.
In have oily skin so someone told me that its better to use CC Cream than BB Cream.
I attended the Murad MakeUp Mixology with Ms.Nicole Romero last Saturday at Rustans Makati
She teached us how to make an awesome CC Cream using the Murad Invisblur and our own fave liquid foundation. I was able to try it and the coverage is really good.
I’m might use this method after I finish my Benefit Professional . .hehehe!
    Thanks for the review
