First 2013 entry

Hello everyone! Happy New Year! How’s 2013 so far? We had a simple celebration and had our media noche last night. I’m so thankful God has given me a happy and blessed 2012. It was a big year for me. So many ups and downs but still, it was as magical as the Disney on Ice show.
My 2012 started with Smiles Today shoot. The very first time I fully appreciated my short hair. A sweet look to start the year was perfect. 2012 was also the start of my lifestyle blogging. I started this blog as a beauty/fashion related page but God gave me more opportunities and gave me a chance to write about food and other things that interest women as well. The best part was when White Hat and Breadtalk came.
I must say, For my dear…, was my best OOTD post for 2012 as it gave me goosies while writing it. Not to mention that the doll featured in that post was one of my most favorites from my collection. And of course, how could I forget Etude House Playhouse? I was able to meet different bloggers and some of my readers. It was also my chance to see my ex-officemates and the people I missed from work.
Leaving the corporate world was not really bad. In fact, it opened a lot of awesome opportunities for me. I became a Dream Girl, Saizen partner, a Sophie Paris resident blogger, and a fashion coach during one of their events, and many more partnership with different brands. Plus, me and my boyfriend became very successful in putting up Siamese Design Studio and got awesome clients like Rajo, Nix, and MDO.
I was also chosen to be one of SM GTW’s blogger ambassadors for Redhead model search. I consider it as  one of my biggest and happiest blogging project in 2012. I got a chance to do mall tours with other fashion bloggers and did reports about the competition, attended the Candy Fair and bonded with the girls!
One of the most unforgettable was the recent White’s Hot challenge. Up until now, I can’t believe I won the contest and soon I’d be styling Solenn Heusaff for a fashion magazine spread and use my prize to put up a children’s party at an orphanage. What a double dream come true!
Eton and I celebrated our 6th anniversary last November and had crazy adventures at Baguio. The Camp John Hay tour and the ukay ukay was the highlight of our trip! I was also invited to judge a beauty pageant for a cause. And lastly, I was fortunate to be part of Glorietta’s Move to the Vibe fashion show that broke Guiness World Record!
The last part  of my 2012 was sad though. I lost my 2 year old dog and received shocking news that a Kamote friend passed away before the New Year’s Eve. I truly can’t believe it happened. I will surely miss them. Life has to continue and I’m sure God has reasons why it all happened. At least, they’re now happy in heaven and their sufferings had ended.

Now I am ready to face a new beginning. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2013. Hope you all had a wonderful New Year’s Eve and a fresh start today!
