A gift from last year, unwrapped this year. Happiness feels so much greater when I don’t unbox all presents at once. I always like saving a few for later, stretching the excitement over several days (or years!) instead of squeezing it into one moment. It’s almost like I’m giving myself little bursts of joy every day, which makes every gift even more special!

She’s my first Shadow High doll, and I absolutely love her style! One of her legs had an articulation issue, and I was about to send her back to Amazon for a replacement. But a fellow collector suggested dipping it in hot water… and it actually worked!
You can actually see her bent knee problem here on this photo. So she called a co-doll collector for some help…

After adding a Shadow High doll to my collection, I decided it was time to get a Rainbow High one too! My top picks were Bella Parker and Amaya Raine. Though I found them second-hand, they turned out to be beautiful additions to my collection after some serious restoration work.
Next gift that I was able to unbox after a few months was Lavender Lynn, also from Shadow High.
Really love all her accessories—they match her personality perfectly. Although, imo, I feel like I should have removed the glasses. What do you think?
And then, last Christmas, I have decided to unbox another one. She was waiting for me to unbox her all year round. Say hello to Rosie Redwood. ❄️♥️
I appreciate the effort they put into every doll accessory. We don’t get stuff like this from the other brand!
And I still have two girls waiting to be released from their boxes: Victoria Whitman and Delilah Fields!
This year, my goal is to focus more on the dolls I already own – both modern and vintage, deepen my knowledge in doll restoration, and bring new life to the ones currently stored away in boxes.
