Dolljoy Museum is back

I now have two Sandra dolls, both made by Dolljoy (@dolljoy.ph)! When I was young, I had a red Sandra doll that I remember so fondly. If I’m not mistaken, daddy won it as a prize in StarCity. It was a heavy cloth doll, and I once tried to apply blush to its cheeks using my mom’s lipstick. 😖 As a leetol kid, I went a little overboard, and no matter what I tried, I couldn’t get it off – making her whole face turn red! My sister was so upset that time but a few years later, she surprised me with a new one for my birthday (the one wearing maroon in the photo).

And thank you so much Dolljoy for the one wearing green! It’s actually one of my favorite Dolljoy patterns that made me purchase the Hansel and Gretel dolls. 💖

I’m so excited for their relaunch! Now based in Tanza, Cavite, Dolljoy not only continues the legacy of its talented artisans but also creates meaningful opportunities for individuals with special needs. Be sure to reach out to them for orders!
