Tony Moly’s BCDation All Master Foundation for Christmas Break

Hi there! There are few days left before we say goodbye to 2014. So far, I’ve been having the most wonderful Christmas break. Me and my sister are having a Walking Dead marathon, eating lots of sweets, Facetiming with my brother, basically, spending quality time with the whole family.

So while I was at home, I tried out Tony Moly‘s BCDation All Master Foundation with SPF30 PA++. I am really excited to use the full sized bottle since it was the latest product when I visited Korea months ago and I got curious about.
The BCDation All Master is the improved version of last year’s BCDation. Still an all-in-one product of BB Cream, CC Cream, and Foundation, the new formula is now added with three ampoule capsule that conceals facial lines, thus promoting a youthful glow. Its formulation contains 45% nourishing serum base which covers skin imperfection with a porcelain-like finish. BCDation All Master is clinically approved by Korea Dermatology Research Institute as a safe and effective non-invasive option to face lifting and wrinkle removal.

BB + CC + Foundation = BCDation
This one comes in only one shade. Hmmm… I think the shade is lighter than my skin tone but let’s see.
It looks good when blended well on skin. Not too light at all.
It says it’s Air Light Base but Perfect. It claims to tone-up/brighten and even-out the skin tone with its lightweight coverage . The formula is indeed very light and somewhat a gel cream texture. Very easy to blend. I can easily use my fingers to pat and blend the cream on my skin.
It also claims to give light and natural covering of a BB Cream and yes it did. The coverage isn’t heavy on skin but not as light as a CC Cream. I think it’s closer to BB Cream. I don’t even need to put layers of concealer too on my blemishes and eyebags to hide them.

My face didn’t oil up as well after wearing it for 8 1/2 hours. By the end of the day, my skin has a little oil but it looks more dewy than oily to me BUT I don’t think it would last 24 hours as advertised.
What I like about the product:
Air-Light Base / Lightweight Formula
Light to Medium Coverage
Buildable and Blendable
Did not break me out
What I dont like:
Available only in 1 shade
Sticky feeling
Needs touch ups from time to time
Wont last the whole day
That stickiness can be reduced when topped with a finishing powder though. I guess, that feature is not appropriate in Philippine weather. Also, I don’t want to wear this for more than 12 hours. It might look greasy! The dewy look only applies to countries that have cold and snowy weather.
I like how it looks like on photographs though. I mean just look at the first photo on this post. My skin doesn’t look dry and dull. The coverage of a BB Cream/Foundation of this product is quite impressive too so I think I can wear this product often.
Now moving on to my Christmas outfit:

Top from Uniqlo // Skirt from H&M // Shoes from Parisian

The skirt is from the kids’ section once again. Haha. I just noticed that this year started with bold colors like royal blues and reds and it is slowly ending with pastels and light outfits. I’m not over with sweet looks just yet especially now that I am sporting a short hair so more girly girl looks to come this 2015!
