Etude House Color in Liquid Lips Review

Got some cute products once again from Etude House! Have you seen these yet? It’s the new Color in Liquid Lips. It fills the lips with a light and smooth texture that slides onto lips for vivid color and a transparent shine.

The box has a fun and adorable lip design while the tube is made of clear plastic. It is shaped like a clear lipstick bullet but the cap is actually the bottom part. The wand is also flexible making it easier to apply the product on lips.
The tear-shaped applicator looks like a bubble wand! I could imagine this product creates lip-shaped bubbles in the air. Oh that would be awesome!
Take a look at the swatches below:
The smooth water-sliding texture is actually lightweight but glossy. Unlike the usual lipglosses you could find in the market, this one is not sticky at all! You might feel a little oil on this product but its actually sweet almond oil and sunflower seed oil to coat lips comfortably and smoothly for a long time. It prevents lips from drying too.
But the most important thing for me – it’s highly pigmented!
PK001
You can apply a thin layer for a nice vivid color or go on full for that plumped glossed lips!
PK001 has a little neon hint when applied but really looks good if you don’t put too much. It gives a Barbie pink shade on your lips, very girly and sweet.
Blogger tip: Exfoliate your lips first to remove dead skin. This product clings to dry skin and it might accentuate chapped or dry lips!

This shade is my favorite because of its opaque and glossy color. I think every girl should have this shade in their beauty kits. Turn yourself into Snow White!
What I like about this product?
Very pigmented
Glossy finish
Leaves a nice stain on lips
Excellent packaging
What I don’t like?
Sinks into lines making it a bit messy
Not for chapped dry lips
It doesn’t last forever
Color in Liquid Lips doesn’t create flakes and it actually feels very moisturizing on my lips. The color payoff and packaging is great too. Thinking of wearing this for the whole day? Well, you have to reapply every now and then as the color goes away after eating and drinking. However, it leaves a nice tint so you won’t really look pale after your meal.  (¬‿¬)

Overall, I like this hybrid of lipstick and lipgloss. It’s worth the money as you get the great qualities of lipstick and lipgloss in one tube.
What do you think?

  1. Sad that I always have dry lips 🙁 But I really like pk001 😀 When I went to the store a month back I think, that is the color that caught my eye. I don't have a light pink lip product yet and when I swatched it, super girly! It made me look like an innocent and sweet girl XD

    1. Yes, it's one of the best liquid lips shade 🙂

  2. I want the PK001 shade! Both shades look pretty on you 🙂
