I’m okay with my skin color but I do hate dark spots and my dry skin that’s why I was really excited when I heard about this Red Light Collagen Therapy from Beauty Lab Whitening PH. The facility originated and was perfect in Seoul, South Korea by South Korean skin expert Suaviss. In fact, this red light collagen therapy is a huge hit in their country. It was my first time to try the treatment so I asked a lot of questions prior to the procedure. Here are some reminders you need to take note of:
- Remove your contact lenses. Anything that has something to do with light or laser, I always remove my contact lenses. Better safe than sorry. I have poor eyesight and I never leave the house without it so I brought my contact lens case with me that day so I can remove it before the treatment. They also have cases and solution available at their clinic in case you forget to bring yours.
- Do not apply lotion. Or anything on your body. The first treatment would be exfoliation of dead skin cells thus, if you have product applied on your skin, it would be hard to remove dead skin cells from your body. That includes makeup as well but you can quickly remove it anyway as soon as you get there.

Once you’re ready, you’d be asked to prep up and remove any traces of makeup in their vanity corner. The area is complete with facial cleanser, makeup remover, comb and lint remover. After that, you’re all set for the therapy!
STEP 1
The first procedure, as I have mentioned, is exfoliation. They have this non-irritating product with micro scrub particles which removes dead skin cells. I really enjoyed this part as you can also get a light massage.
For first-timers, this might be a little awkward as you’d need to take off your clothes but don’t worry, their therapists are all professional and they’d make sure that you feel comfortable during the entire procedure. If you’re used to getting whole body massage and scrubs at spas, this isn’t something new but keep in mind that this is exfoliation and not body massage treatment so don’t expect too much stretches and pressure. After that, the therapist would rinse you off and will ask you to towel dry.
STEP 2
She will then apply a Suaviss Lab preconditioning ointment all over your body. I honestly felt bad that I was just standing there waiting like a princess pig. I need some participation here! So I helped her apply the cream on my body. I learned that the ointment has a strong whitening and moisturizing effect so I applied it generously on my underarms, elbows and knees. Hihi.
STEP 3
Bye for now! Time to go to space! Haha kidding! I entered the R-630 Equipment which utilizes the strongest and safest light in human history.
It activates sleeping cells, which improves cell metabolism. Aside from that, it also decreased the activity of melanin cells which cause darkening. I stayed inside for a maximum of 15 minutes. Don’t be afraid! It’s safe inside. Just imagine you’re just saunaing, the better way.
It has 630nm wavelength lamp which integrated cuttling edge technology from Germany to deliver light energy deep into your skin to aid rapid and effective delivery of whitening treatment substance. STEP 4
Hello Earth! I am back! The therapist applied a Suaviss Lab post conditioning ointment all over my face and body which also whitens and protects the skin. And it’s done!
The whole procedure lasted about 2 good hours. I also took home a skin essence and an ampoule for my everyday skin care treatment.
After my first session, I already noticed the difference in my skin color. I am normally pale and yellowish so it was easy for me to determine if there are any changes. My skin feels so soft and blushing!
