Club Balai Isabel, Philippines

Last week, we had a weekend foray for Tita Ayet’s birthday at Club Balai Isabel, located in the town of Talisay, province of Batangas. We thought it was a nice and relaxing place to stay but resort was fully booked last week so we got 2 rooms instead of 1 big family room. There are different types of accommodations like the stand-alone villas, the condo-typed, and the hotel rooms. I believed we got the condo-typed units near the lakeshore. It has a loft, a kitchen with electric stove, a fridge, 2 tables and 2 sofabeds, and 1 double-sized bed.
We didn’t know how to use the electric stove (ahahhahaha) so we just had our  buffet breakfast and dinner at the nearby clubhouse and restaurant. They served both local and international dishes while giving the people a splendid view of the pool and the Taal Lake.
The next photo shows views outside the reception hall. The place really looked nice and inviting.
Taal Lake is deep and wide but swimming in the lake is strongly discouraged. The construction-grade sand is also a turn off. However there are other things you can do to enjoy its waters like kayaking, sailing, and wakeboarding available for rent. You can also enjoy outdoor sports such as volleyball, basketball, badminton and tennis with their sports facilities.
The infinity pool gives a panoramic view of the lake while swimming. It is divided into 2, the kiddie and the main pool.
Overall,  our stay was really fun and relaxing. I really appreciate it when one staff offered a surprise birthday song and cake, when I told them it was Tita’s birthday celebration, while we’re having our dinner. 🙂
