Another high-end fine dining establishment here in Ortigas. The place was really elegant (looks like a spa or salon to me) and full of flower vector designs.
Ate grabbed a Cash Cash Pinoy voucher P1000 worth of food at Florabel Restaurant and We both very much enjoyed the food here. They served different dishes from Italian, American, Japanese, and Filipino food.
They’ve served soft and still warm bread and butter as appetizers for free. Since we’re not familiar with their dishes yet, we had a simple 2-course dinner and opt for Filipino Food. We started off our meal with Pork Adobo with Pusit and Prawns in coconut sauce.
I asked the waiter if the adobo has soy sauce and vinegar in it, he said yes. So I expected for the brownish sauce. We were surprised to see it has BLACK sauce pala T_T we didn’t complain anymore.
The prawns were quite disappointing. The presentation was good but it lacked flavor. But I guess they made that on purpose since foreigners are not into strong and smelly flavors anyway. Personally, it would be better if they had seasonings available on the table too.
Prices are pretty justifiable and worth it. Unfortunately, they charged us service fee. There are no indications in our vouchers that service charge is not yet included. It was just a small error and we did not complain there of course!
