Retail to Runway Fashion Show

Last Saturday, me and my boyfriend went to Shangri-la mall to catch a glimpse of Retail to Runway Fashion Show. It’s our 5th anniversary btw! It was held at the Grand Atrium, Level 2 of Shangri-la Mall. Top styling teams take on the season’s hottest trends in highly anticipated sartorial showcase.
Avid style setters and mall guests enjoyed a stylish sampling of the fashionable Yuletide season to come as Shangri-La Plaza recently unveiled the year’s most coveted holiday looks at its annual Holiday Fashion Show at the mall’s Grand Atrium, Level 2.
Titled Retail to Runway, this year’s fashion feat saw an eye-catching amalgamation of the holiday season’s key trends taking to the ramp via stylized ensembles by participating brands Accessorize, Anthem, A/X, Bauhaus, Bergamo, Bossini, Celine, CMG, Crossings Department Store, Daniel Hechter, Debenhams, Diesel, Furla, Gap, Izod, K & Co., Kenneth Cole, Mango, Marks & Spencer, Massimo Dutti, Michael Kors, Mico Boutique, M)Phosis, Nautica, Original Penguin, Pab Der Uomo, Raoul, Rustan’s Department Store, The Travel Club, Topshop, Warehouse and Zara.
First was the fashion show for Ferdi Salvador and John Lozada of the F.A.S.H. team which started at 3pm.  Damn, I missed this part! They showcased Street Luxe casual yet holiday-ready range of utilitarian outfits that were skillfully styled through smart layering, mixing and matching and accessorizing, both showed how ease of style can be achieved by fusing rack-relevant separates with statement pieces.
Next on the runway were the standout style statements put together by Metro Magazine’s Fashion Editor Mela de Luna. Dubbed Eclectic Vintage, the trendy anthology of looks was a fitting ode to the holiday season’s style highlights, giving cozy and comfy a sexy and chic spin via runway-worthy combinations that utilize varying cuts and silhouettes.

As a fitting finale, a decadent concoction of lavish and opulent holiday looks took center stage with Luxury, which featured the styling prowess of MEGA Magazine’s Fashion Editor Angela Alarcon. We had to go after Metro Fashion Show since we need to attend a birthday party. Too bad. I wanna watch this also sana but we were still given a lootbag after the Metro Fashion Show.
What’s on my table? It includes a Kimmidoll keychain, Apple green notepad, and a super cute Cocoja fluorescent pen! So cute! can’t belive we just got Kimmidolls keychain. We’ve been eyeing on that  at Rustans weeks ago!
Hair and makeups were done in partnership with the country’s top styling teams, NARS, Laura Mercier and T. LeClerc, and L’Oreal Professionnel.
Successfully taking the season’s top looks and trends fresh off the ramps of the world’s style capitals and translating them into fashionable ensembles fit for every kind of Yuletide celebration, this year’s Holiday Fashion Show was an excitable affair that heightened every shopper and stylephile’s anticipation of dressing for the much awaited time of year.
Then we headed to Le Couer de France after that…

Apple pie and Roasted beef turnover for dinner~ Hope you had fun viewing the photos! Bye for now!
