Last Tuesday, me and Keigh attended ESSENTIAL LOOKS from Schwarzkopf Professional event at the Rockwell Tent for the FLUX Collection launch last April 17, 2012.
Ms. Faith assisted us to the photo booth area. I was amused with their touch screen photo wall, well, actually you have to use the paint spray to operate but it is soo cool! They also served great food and cocktail drinks for the guests.
ESSENTIAL LOOKS features the Catwalk to Salon concept on stage. The concept was about taking avant garde looks as inspiration and then creating interpretations that are both aspirational and adaptable, with versatile cuts and colouring techniques that promise to work for all salons and their clients. It is called FLUX not only because of the ever changing global economic situation, but also because they believe to succeed in hairdressing that will adapt and evolve to stay ahead of the game.
First on the catwalk is The Dark Angels. These are sensual, mysterious, and confident women who are the embodiment of feminine beauty. I dig those luxe, lustrous, lavish hair!

Next is the Sport Junkies – honed, toned adrenaline junkies always seeking the next endorphin rush. They got the attention of the audience because of their energetic opening dance number and star studded casts.

Then the Hip Opulants entered the stage. These are hedonistic pleasure seekers who want to see and be seen at the coolest bars and hippest hangouts.

Lastly, they showcased Cool Hunters on the runway. They are the epitome of 21st century entrepreneurs, travelling the world with a high tech virtual office in search of the next new big thing.

It’s so edgy and striking!
This is my first time to watch a hair show and I am deeply amazed with it! Congratulations to Schwarzkopf for this very successful event!
