PRP Season 3 Final Runway

If you’re a Twitter addict, I’m sure you have noticed last weekend that Project Runway Philippines is the number 1 trending in the Philippines. Awesome. I was invited to watch the finale at Sofitel last month! Sadly, I missed the show last Sunday on tv XD Good thing ETC has a replay! So here’s a recap for those who missed it like I did.
Let’s start with Amor. Amor’s collection was very feminine, flamboyant, no pretensions, fun and mastered layers. Using fabrics from Ilocos where he grew up was really commendable.

Next, we have Nel. Nel was really polished here in PRP. Judges said his genius use of recycled plastic was great. He’s one of the most humble designers.
Cheetah was for sure prepared his collection well with all those props and all. It was very Mcqueen though. Focusing on the dresses itself, there was no uniqueness. I personally think the collection was bonggels! Well, Cheetah grabbed the 1st place!

Lastly, Milka’s collection, who used banana as inspiration, was so effortless. The designs need no explanations. The works spoke for herself. Judges said she delivered it well and gave her inspiration to another level.

And she won the competition! She cant even believe it cause she was just a simple mother sewing at home, and selling clothes online. Im glad she got the grand prize!
Thank you so much ETC, Solar and Jeman for this exclusive invitation. Congratulations to Project Runway Philippines Season 3 grand winner, Milka!

Hooray for Milka R. for being the first female to win PRP! She deserved it! ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Everyone's creative. I like all of them but I find Cheetah's creations scary and more like for costume parties while Milka's simple but can be worn in any occasion. Congrats Milka!
