SM Launches Toon Fest!

Last week, I attended the press conference for SM Cartoon Fest 2013. I was ecstatic as this would be the biggest and only gathering of 40 cartoon characters in 44 malls nationwide! I know only the kids and kids-at-heart would understand. Haha.

This summer-long festival will start tomorrow, April 12, and ends on May 31. They’d feature never-before-seen number of activites like face painting, raffles, scrapbook making, cartoon film showings, arts and crafts shows, play centers and game areas, and Meet and Greets with beloved cartoon characters such as Spongebob and Patrick, Dora and Boots, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Barbie Ballerina, polly Pocket, Monster High, DC Comics Heroes, Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry, Angry Birds, Hello Kitty, Despicable Me Minions, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bet & Ernie, Alex the Lion from Madagascar, Lorax, Ben10, Hop, Garfield, and Robby Rabbit. Now, who would you like to meet?

Later that day, we found out that one of our favorite yellow fellow character was at SM North Edsa, The Block! We had a spongy tour around cause the Block, Atrium was tranformed into an underwater city inspired by Bikini Bottom!

Visit the newly opened store, Krusty Krab, and try their best selling Krabby Patties!

The theme was extended up to SM North Edsa Skygarden, giving mallgoers more reasons to enjoy the summer breeze as they stroll along its walkway.

And my most favorite part is the meet and greet with Spongebob and Patrick!!!

Kids from Child Haus were also invited to have some fun and forget their illnesses even just for a while.

Meet them on the following dates: April 5, 6, 13, 20, & 27, and May 8, 9, 18, 25, & 31 at the Block, Atrium. Go north and catch the sponge!!!
