There is Hope

I’ve only had little sleeps for 3 nights already. Allow me to take a break.
Dress from Sparkle Shop // Necklace from Forever 21 // Shoes from Ferretti
Cute necklace!

The wind was blowing so hard that my hat flew. Good thing, I have great catching skills!

Our dog, Kimpy, has been diagnosed with Canine Distemper and he’s already on neurological stage. Upon searching about his illness, I’ve read that only 20%  make it and most vet would advice to put the dog to sleep. Since last week, I cannot focus on work because of his condition but I know there is hope.
I’ve learned about this NDV procedure by Dr. Sears, an experiment that could treat distemper, but on Kimpy’s condition, there is only 50% survival rate. I guess, it is much better than doing nothing at all as dogs often die in this stage. It will be costly but Kimpy deserves a chance.
Last night, he underwent surgery. So far, he’s doing good and cooperating with his meds. Six more days before I could say he’s out of the woods. Please pray for his fast recovery!

Hi Doll! Your pics are flawless! Im sorry to hear about your dog. I totally get what youre feeling: mi dog (half chihuaha, half jack russell) was born with genetic issues, meaning she's always sick and if something can happen to her, it will. And when I think shes better now, no! She gets sick again, its so sad to see your puppy suffer. My best wishes to you and your furry friend. XO #gig

Just curious what happened to dogs with NDV?
My dog got kidney problems last year on my birthday and I wasn't able to fully enjoy my birthday as I spend my budget to her for the vet. 😐

  16. you mean, canine distemper? it's viral and gets to dog's neuro system. symptoms could be colds, skin irritation, vomiting, diarrhea, pneumonia, or worse seizures. it depends on how it attacks the dog. How is your dog now btw?

  17. thank you! We should always give TLC to our furry friends!

She's better now.. Though laging may kidney vitamins prone daw kasi yung mga maliliit na dogs sa kidney problems. 😐 and Im wondering she still doesn't have a period yet mag 1 year old na siya 😀 Hope you'll dog would be part of the 20%

  19. good to know she's fine now. just dont forget to bring her to vet every month. not bringing kimpy for check up was a big mistake on my part.

  20. I hope your dog would be part of the 20%, Carizza! There's still hope, don't worry! I'll pray for his fast recovery! By the way, I love the necklace hihi!
