Excellent Thai Dining at Silk Road

Remember this place? I went back to silk Road at BGC with Eton to try authentic Thai food. It’s a fairly new restaurant located at Net Squad, The Fort.

I just recovered from flu that sapped my appetite so no big plates for now.
Ruben, the restaurant manager, ensures that we got the excellent customer service and dining experience that night. He even separated the syrup from our Lemongrass and Calamansi juice drink to control the level of sweetness.
One notable dish to try is their Tom Yum Kung. It’s a hot and sour prawn soup with lemongrass and ginger that lingers and soothes the throat. Perfect soup for me.
Eton ordered black pepper crablets tossed in perfect blend of caramelized sugar eith ginger sauce and bell pepper. A must have for seafood lovers like us!
And we ended our dinner with a creamy scoop of Durian ice cream. It’s so rich and sweet as if we were actually eating a real Durian fruit. One of the best home made ice creams I’ve ever tasted.
If you are in the mood for Thai food and looking for a more relaxing and classy dining place, definitely try Silk Road Thai Bistro.
