I had a fun styling experience last week at the newly opened Regatta store in SM Megamall A. The contest was in collaboration with Saladbox and each blogger was assigned to style the winners from Regatta online raffle. Before the contest started, I already looked around to check what we could possibly mix and match.
Most of the items from their latest collection are light, striped and nautical – all perfect for summer! I was all ready for the items I was going to get for the contest. But before that, here’s an obligatory selfie which required me to use my skills in aiming the macro lens perfectly on the mirror with just a few tries:

When the styling contest started, bloggers had been assigned to their respective models, gave us 30 minutes to style, then announced that we could only get item/s which costed for only P1,000! Oh my, the style that I already had in mind has to be washed out. I asked my model-for-the-day, Jaws, about her style and she said she likes Bohemian so we looked for an outfit which is somewhat near to her style. And here’s what we picked:
A carefree laid back girl in a romper. Something that any girl could wear everyday. Even Boho chic Jaws loved it! Good thing, I have my scarf with me that day – we used it as a headband.
On the last ten minutes, Regatta team had announced that we could add items worth P1,000 to the outfit! I don’t know what ninja skills the other bloggers have but when we rushed to the bags section, the pretty ones which could match our romper were already gone. So we ended up with a pink belt and sunnies. Here’s the final look:
And we were so happy to win the contest! As a prize, Jaws was able to take home the whole outfit she’s wearing. Michael and his partner also won for the men’s style.
