Text2Teach to boost quality of education in Patikul, Sulu

Beauty break for the mean time. If you know me well, you know that I love charity and outreach programs. In fact, I have blogged some of those here in my blog. I miss visiting the orphanage and play with the kids. Since I haven’t recovered 100% yet from illness, I guess I have to stay at home for now and just read news over the internet. One worth sharing is the Text2Teach mobile learning program. It is set this school year to boost the quality of education in 15 elementary schools in Patikul, Sulu. I haven’t been to Sulu and I have no idea with the condition of the schools there. According to Globe, it is one of the most remote island groups in the Philippines where student dropout rate has reached alarming proportions, hence, they have thought of this program.
Text2Teach is a collaboration between the private and public sectors composed of Globe Telecom, Ayala Foundation, Nokia, Pearson Foundation, Toshiba, the Department of Education, and the local government units.
This effort also serves as a catalyst for peace and development efforts. Text2Teach helps forge and deepen cooperation between the local government of Sulu, the Philippine Marine Corps, and the academe to engage in educational programs as an effective way to pursue peace and prosperity in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
Educational materials will be provided to the youth in Sulu for them to receive the same kind of learning materials received by the rest of the country. The Text2Teach training program is expected to boost teacher morale and enhance the learning environment in the classroom, with the end-goal of significantly lowering the drop-out rate and significantly increase the learning gains.

I'm happy that still there are some sectors have concerned to the education of others. We are aware that some of the government officials are 'corrupt' is their priority once they hailed. They want to regained (twice? Thrice?) all the expenses they used in election. I;m just so glad & appreciating those people & sectors like Globe, Nokia, Toshiba and others are always have their hand to help other people especially those children.Because, I believe to the saying that "Youth is the Hope of our Nation" so we should support them and raise them with good knowledge and have good education and good etiquette. Their too young to be wasted, so while they are young it's a good idea to have the "Text2Teach" advocacy for them to know and nurture the essence of peace and the significant of learning. I hope that more rich people will support this and I pray for the succeed of this advocacy.

I think this is nice and perhaps effective but the question is kung hiyang ako sa sabon. hehe. But I am surely recommend this to some of my cousin because they love try any whitening soap. Frustrate to be fair. hehe.. Me kasi hiyang ako sa Evee products na gamit ko ngayun and yes! It is really effective to me. I really can see the different, clearly with just 8 days of using it. But who knows, right?! I will try this too pag naubos na yung gamit ko kasi medyo may kamahalan yung sa Evee. This Triple Whitening Soap from Mischka Derma Secret is budget friendly and looks effective too. I think I will try this. ๐Ÿ™‚
