Photodiary: Nami Island, Korea

Finally, a time to share my Nami experience here in my blog! I love posting my first time experiences here in my blog once in a while so when I backread 2 to 5 years from now, I would recall the younger me easily.
Few months ago, me and my friends went to Nami island for a unique cultural experience. We took the train to Gapyeong station and boy, it was a looong trip (1 and a half hour) but it’s all worth it.
Instead of hailing a cab, we decided to go with the locals and lined up at the bus station.

The back of the bus station is full of blooming flowers. Such a nice spot for practicing photography while waiting for the shuttle bus.

Soon as we arrived at the station, we bought ‘visa’ tickets at the ‘Immigration terminal’ and hopped aboard the ferry!
This little one is probably excited to go to Nami too!
For a more adventurous trip, you can also try the zip line from the wharf to Nami island. The weather was too cold and we did not want to freeze in the air so we did not try it. Haha.

I guess we were too early for autumn but the island is still beautiful! Nami island is not just a park but also a place for art galleries, museums, and other artworks. I really like the sculptures we found there.

Matchy outfit with my twin!

Great times with Mr. Fujiiiii~ Eton gave it to me as a birthday present. (∘⁼̴⃙̀˘︷˘⁼̴⃙́∘)

We’re also happy to meet Mr. Squirrel! We were able to get really close to squirrels as we have bread and a pack of peanuts with us. Some Korean students approached us at the Gapyeong station and gave it to us.
Picnic with friends! We did not actually go there to see the Winter Sonata area. I haven’t even watched it yet and I’m not really a fan of love stories so I chose my snacks and squirrels over that famous kissing spot.

And I also chose to play around like a kid haha.

It will take you the whole day to explore and relax at the Nami island. Nonstop snapping around but I’ll end this post here. I hope you enjoyed our photos as much as I do!
