Gardens by the Bay: Supertrees

The whole trip to Gardens by the Bay was not even in our plan but it seemed like we were attracted by the supertrees and we spent the whole morning there. It is Singapore’s largest garden spanning a total of 101 hectares of prime land just beside the spectacular Marina Bay. It is also known for its 12 Steel Giant Supertrees and 2 cooled dome conservatories: The Cloud Forest and the Flower Dome.

Supertree Grove

The Supertree Grove in the garden consisted of 12 trees which are, at maximum, 164 feet in high. There is a suspension bridge that connects a few of them and going up via OCBC Skyway costs $5 SGD.

You’ll get a chance to see the canopy of trees, up close and personal. Plus, a picturesque view!

If only my cam didn’t get lost, we probably had went back here to see the Garden Rhapsody at night.
How to get there?
Via the Circle Line or Downtown Line:
1. Alight at Bayfront MRT Station (CE1/DT1)
2. Exit B and follow the underground linkway
3. Exit and cross the Dragonfly Bridge or Meadow Bridge into the Gardens by the Bay
