Etude House Real Art Perfect Cleansing Oil

I feel so tired today, seriously. This week was filled with work, work work, meetings from left and right and the traffic here in Manila is not helping. All of these combined are spelled S-T-R-E-S-S. And that makes me dead tired at the end of the day.
Thank God I still have some time to blog a bit more. I’m here today with a review on Etude House’s Real Art Perfect Cleansing Oil. I’ve never tried cleansing oil products because I always thought my VCO or my argan oil works effectively already but let’s see how this one goes. I need a quick makeup remover anyway since I’m always too lazy to drag myself  to my dresser to go through a long makeup removal ritual

This cleansing oil comes in three variants – Perfect (Php 898.00), Mild (Php 848.00), and Moisture (Php 848.00).
I like how snugly this matte finished container fits in my drawer. It saves a lot of space compared to tubes and round-shaped bottles. Aside from the screwcap, it also comes with a pump inside the box giving you options to use it in your bathroom or for travel.

Perfectly sealed

The pump also comes with a travel-collar which you can slip on to stop the pump dispensing product whilst on your travels.

The bottle looks really simple but it has actually a lot of functions. If you would notice, the pump also has a collar attached to it, which you can slip on to stop the pump from dispensing the product. That’s a great idea if you want to keep the bottle with a pump on it inside your bag!

The shocked Mona Lisa artwork on the packaging is a nice touch. I personally think they chose her because of her non-existent eyebrows which makes her look makeup-less.

Description: This is a serum oil type moist cleansing oil containing moist meadowfoam seed oil, shea butter extract and rice bran oil, effectively removing thick makeup and pore impurities with a moist and fresh finish.
How to use: Apply appropriate amount of cleansing oil onto dry hands and gently smooth over dry face to dissolve makeup. Emulsify by adding water (the oil will turn milky while) then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and a foam cleanser.
The bottle may look orange-y but the oil in it is actually clear. All you need to do then is work it into your face before rinsing it off with water. No need for cotton balls! I tried it on half of my face and in just about 10 seconds, my makeup has been removed easily!

My makeup especially my K-Palette eyebrow liner was removed in an instant!

What I like about this product?
Shape of the container
Gentle on Skin
Didn’t break me out
Easy to use
What I don’t like about this product?
Removing of mascara is a challenge
For mascara, I recommend to massage the oil on the eye area thoroughly before rinsing. Overall, I like using this instead of pouring oil on cotton balls and swiping makeup off my face.
How about you? Have you ever felt too tired or lazy to remove your makeup after a long day or late night?

  1. I feel lazy at times but I know I need to remove every last bit of makeup! I don't want to have bad skin D:
I have been eyeing this cleanser but it's expensive pala ๐Ÿ™ I want to try it but I am currently very happy with my Bifesta cleansers ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Bifesta works great but I just love this one since there is no need to wipe off makeup from skin, which could somehow irritate as well. ๐Ÿ™‚
