Treating Pimples with AcneCare

Finally, October has come to an end. Hope that ends my pimple breakouts too. I religiously follow my skincare regimen but sadly, stress is always around and I couldn’t avoid having major breakouts that’s why I need to use acne fighting products before it gets worse.
Remember the time when I blogged about AcneCare? I’ve been quite happy with the results of their capsules however, my doctor advised me to stop taking other meds so the only way to cure my zits now is by using toners, creams, soap, etc. Good thing, AcneCare also have soaps and acne-drying lotion!

The soap gently clenases the skin without making it feel dry. One of the main ingredients is ACE-B3 – a potent combination of Aloe Vera extract (skin moisturizing and protection), Vitamin C (skin recovery and protection against photo-damage), Vitamin E (free radical defense) and Nacinamide B3 (skin clarifying and lightening).

This soap also has Tea Tree Oil that contains Terpenoids which have been clinically proven to have anti-septic, anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties. With its Bio-Sulfur content, the soap helps reduce skin oiliness and prevent pore blockage from forming.

It is important to read the description and all ingredients at the back of its packaging before use and make sure you don’t have an allergy to any of its contents.

AcneCare soap is best for treating bacne. Whenever I feel bumps at my back, I use this product so they won’t become worse.

How about trying the new AcneCare Acne Drying Lotion? It’s a fast-acting acne spot medication for inflamed or swollen pimples. Ingredients and instructions on how to use are printed at the back of the bottle

It reminds me of Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. The product inside looks, feels, and smells almost exactly the same. The only difference might only be the price tag. AcneCare Drying Lotion doesn’t have an SRP yet but if it’s cheaper than MB (Php 1095), I’d definitely switch to this one!

Product is perfectly sealed!

The first rule in using acne drying lotion is: DO NOT SHAKE!

If the contents get shaken accidentally or during delivery, simply place the bottle on a flat surface until the layers separate. The pink sediment must completely rest on the bottom before use.

I think it should be written in the bottle as many Filipinas aren’t familiar with drying lotions yet. Dip a cotton swab into pink sediment. Dab on affected area after cleansing of face.

Second rule: DO NOT RUB IN. Let it dry and simply wash off in the morning.
It took 2 days before my pimple healed. But 2 days healing time is better than wait for the pus to form. Eeew. Hate squeezing it out! So far, I am loving these products from AcneCare.

AcneCare is now also available in Beauty MNL. If you also suffer from acne, try these products out!

I am so curious what is the purpose of the liquid above the sediment, can it help dry pimples too? Or its just for the pink sediment,

I think the liquid part is isopropyl alcohol…

Hi can I use the Acne Drying Lotion everyday?

    1. Carizza

It depends on your skin type. If you have dry or sensitive skin, it may not be recommended as it could dry out the areas around the pimple. It would be best if you try it out for three days straight first and check for any possible irritation.
