Move over, Yeezy Boost ripoffs. Lol. Of all shoe designs, why replicate Yeezy Boost huh? Anyway, Kanye, I can’t wait for April! And I am happy to share with you this new adidas NMD!
Driven by a desire to experience. Inspired by the past but always looking to the future. When constantly on the move, objects bring meaning to a high-paced life. The adidas Originals NMD joins this selection.
Designed for a nomadic lifestyle without boundaries, the NMD fuses iconic adidas Originals DNA with breakthrough technology from today. Micro-engineered BOOST and Primeknit fabrications meet a bold visual language that pays homage to innovation moments from the brand’s collective memory. The result is a fearless new silhouette driven by adidas’ pioneering archive that defines the shape and style of today.
Referencing progressive adidas styles like the Micro Pacer, the Rising Star, and the Boston Super, the NMD gives archival elements a modern context — jolting the iconography surrounding adidas’ most celebrated products and merging them with unparalleled 2016 engineering.
A technical runner realized as a lifestyle sneaker, the NMD is born from an audacious combination of shapes, angles, and materials on an iconic color-blocked foundation. Designed without compromise, a modern upper construction, an exaggerated silhouette, and bold archival details comprise the dynamic concept. The NMD’s midsole is elevated with adidas BOOST technology, in which blown EVA pellets are compressed to create a durable, shock-resistant, responsive sole. Its upper, meanwhile, utilizes the integrity of adidas Primeknit, boasting new levels of flexibility, stability, and strength.
“adidas is a pioneering brand—that is the principle we were built on,” says Nic Galway, adidas Originals VP of Global Design. “Our archive features the best technology of its time and continues to empower us. It’s not a museum. It’s a tool. It’s a reference.” NMD – the past empowers the future.
The launch NMD sold in the Philippines for PhP9,995 at adidas stores, select retailers and via adidas.com/NMD.
I personally like adidas NMD Sneaker design that I saw on Hypebeast better. What do you guys think?
