Unboxing Althea Korea Beauty Products

Our long wait is finally over. No need to purchase directly from Korea or ask someone to buy Korean makeup for you. Discover new beauty products with a quick and easy shopping at Althea Philippines! This shopping website was launched last February 15, 2016. Here, you’ll see hard to find yet authentic Korean brands with amazing and innovative products like gold masks, lip tattoos, fun face masks and tons of foundations and BB creams to choose from!

Look at my personal picks here:
They offer free shipping from Korea for purchases over Php1,500. Shipping would take around 5-8 days, which is acceptable for an international order but the best part is that, your Althea box won’t have to go through the post office and will be delivered straight to your doorstep. What a relief!
I enjoyed using these Super Panda and Super Leopard masks from Skin9 Village. Super fun! I’ll share my thoughts about these masks on a separate post.
I also have here a Cover Perfection Tip Concealer from theSAEM. I was surprised when I received good comments about this product as I posted it in my Instagram account.

I picked the 2nd shade. I thought this one would be lighter than my skin tone but I was impressed to learn that it’s actually near to my natural skin color.

The applicator tip is decent, nothing innovative but the quality of the product is the winner.

It blends well on my skin and doesn’t feel oily at oil. It could cover dark spots, blemishes and even minimize the appearance of eyebags!

Since eyeliner is almost an everyday thing for me, I also grabbed W.Lab Clear Finish Gel Liner. The packaging reminds me of NARS.

The base of the pen hides the little brush and sharpener.

It doesn’t smudge easily and it would take about 6-8 rubs before it wears off. This is perfect for an everyday natural-looking eye makeup instead of using a liquid liner.

Lastly, the Piolang 24k Gold Wrapping Mask. The one that I received wasn’t a good one. It leaked and saw some fingerprints around the container. The applicator is missing as well. Upon further checking (the product dripping), I have a feeling that this stock was the same product used for their product shoot for the website.

I immediately reported this case to Althea and learned that they have a 30-day refund and unconditional returns. In my case (a collaboration with the brand), I could return the product to their office in Manila but opted not to have it replaced anymore due to time constraints. I can review this product despite this small damage, right?
But to be honest, this product is a real mess. Good luck to myself!
Overall, I enjoyed the shopping experience at Althea Philippines. They were very quick in ansqering inquiries and my complaint regarding the product. Fast delivery and it’s something to bookmark for future Korean beauty shopping spree!
