One thing I noticed: the item that I was eyeing at Popmart store was priced twice as much at Toycon. The box was also dented, and the same item was still available in the official store!

So, yes, I went to Popmart after Toycon to get my Crybaby Shiny Shiny! I’ve been eyeing this plushie for the longest time, hoping I’d find it somewhere else for a lower price. Looks like I was meant to get it directly from the store after all.
It is also important to know the price range of the toy/doll you’re looking for because of course, at Toycon, sellers also pay for their booths.

But our quick visit was still sulit because we get a chance to see interesting and thoughtfully designed booth like this one from Kai Mon (?). It’s the best booth for me!!!

While Kittypons PH booth is like a Mofusand wonderland!

I also enjoyed seeing miniature pieces here made by local artists such as Mamita’s Carinderia. They’re sooo creative!

I have a soft spot for anything vintage too!

Happy to see local contemporary artists excel in the art toy scene! And you get a chance to meet the artists here too! Hello, Distort Monsters!

Another favorite is the Toycon gallery! I can still remember the good ol’ days when I had to bring a DSLR to take good snaps of their displays.

My CCS heart!!!

And I’m always a Sailormoon fangirl!

Happy to see Jenny and Licca Lovers Phils group is very much present here!

There were Disney princesses too!
Takara Blythe is a dream. I love their setup!

Day 1 was pretty crowded in the afternoon but kebs, we happy hearts! This display made me feel extra excited for Toy Story 5!

Jed Madela also launched V-Boy, his original design for a blind box toy. And it was sold out!

We’ve been MIA the past years since we mostly get our doll/toy fix online but we missed this energy!!! Cool to see how the community has grown and evolved through the years. Happy to be back!
