Etude House Proof 10 Gelquid Eyeliner Review

To be honest, I’ve been loyal to In2it Liquid Eyeliner for years and because of that, I hardly ever try out other eyeliner products. I really wanted to try the gel type liners as everyone’s hyping it since Day 1 but I have a feeling that it would just smudge off from my oily skin. Then I thought, “Why not try a product type in between?” I mean, a liquid and gel type in one. Yes, it exists! If it’s your first time to hear about it then, you must check this out.
What’s on my table? (Errr… on my jacket, actually hehe)
It’s Etude House Proof 10 Gelquid Eyeliner!
 Php 498.00

A gelquid! Sounds amazing, right? It’s also part of Proof 10 line which is a collection of waterproof cosmetics. So, that’s 3 in 1.
Each tube has 1.5g of product and should be shaken before use. I can still remember the old brush-tipped applicator. It was a little big and hard to control but now, the product already has a fine tip which is good for creating thin eye wings and defined lower eye lines.
Shade GR701
It comes in five different shades and that one I received is in gray. Grays and browns gives a natural effect so I applied this product as natural-looking as possible.

The eyeliner lives up to its promises. It’s waterproof and long lasting as long as you don’t furiously rub your eyes. No smudges at all. With this kind of waterproof makeup, you’ll really need a good makeup remover so you don’t have to rub it off your skin hard.
Gel liners are easier to apply because it doesn’t drip and glides on smoothly. I think that’s the main reason why people loves the gel type more than liquid liners.
However, this liner is shimmery. It looks good for party looks but I personally think that glitters look wrinkly on the eye area.
What I like about this product:
Gel and Liquid in one
Waterproof
Dries quickly
No smudges
What I don’t like about this product:
Glittery
Common problem with quick drying liners – product in tube dries fast too
It dries quickly so any mistakes have to be fixed quick
Have you tried the Proof 10 Gelquid Eyeliner yet? Did you like the effect of gel + liquid?

  2. I love the brush, but I don't think I'll like the glitter that much.

Awesome! I always use gel liners as liquid flakes on my monolids.

Yes, I know Shara Shara! But I have a hard time ordering them from online facebook shops since the brand is not well known. I knew if because of INFINITE's L. 🙂 I heard that their CC Cream and sun cream are nice 🙂
