Etude House Stay Up Foundation Review

Tough week! Well, I was already expecting this to happen since holidays are fast approaching. Sleepless nights and a lot of deadlines to beat but I think that’s a good problem for the business, isn’t it? So for now, allow me to take a break from work and play with some makeup!
What’s on my table?
Etude House Stay Up Foundation
Php 778.00 for 25g

Description: This foundation completes smooth and flawless makeup with its smooth up, cover-up, moist up “Stay Up” formula.
It’s one of Etude House’s latest products. I got sachets of this foundation when I was in Myeongdong. It really looks great on my skin so I was really happy when I received the regular size from Etude House Philippines.
The packaging is nothing special. Everything is kept simple but still girly. The tube, however, makes me a little sad because it’s only 25g.
This foundation comes in 5 shades: Sand, Beige, Ivory, Rosy, and Pure. Mine is Beige and I think it is just perfect for my complexion.
The foundation is lightweight and very easy to blend on skin even by using your fingers. It leaves a velvety finish but a little dewy at the same time. A semi-matte finish without drying out the skin! It has anti-aging, whitening and UV covering properties as well. It contains sea flower emelass and raffinose which helps contain moisture, while the coconut seed butter keeps skin glowing and vital.
It stays up for about 6 hours (my skin started to get shiny after 4 hours) so – not particularly long lasting as it claims but doesn’t fade quickly either. After 6 hours, you might want to get a powder ready for touch ups. Probably because I have oily skin. Still, it’s something I’d use for a medium-wear time. Aside from that, I love how it leaves a smooth, bright, flawless finish on my skin.

What I like about this product?
Smooth velvety finish
Great pigmentation
Comes in 5 different shades
SPF30 PA ++
Light on skin
What I don’t like about this product?
Small for its price, I guess?
Doesn’t stay up the entire day as it promised
It’s similar to Etude House Skin Fit Foundation but this one has an improved formula and has 5 different shades to choose from. So, if you like that foundation then I am 100% sure that you will like this one even more. Try it!

  1. I think it's too small for its price as well. The effect looks great on you, tho!

    1. Yes, but the effect is just so good I don't even mind how small it is now. For my lips, I am using Etude OR203 🙂

  3. Hi Carizza, does it have silicone in its active ingredients? Just wondering. 🙂

  4. Silica? Yes and silica dimethyl

Major ingredients are: Adenosine, niacinamide, palm seed butter, Emelass, Raffinose
