Etude House Fantastic Color Eyes #1 Bloody Halloween Review

Today is not Halloween but I’d like to have that vampire-y look for tonight’s party so I am going to try this Etude House Fantastic Color Eyes #1 Bloody Halloween.

This is a 6 color eye shadow palette that come in trendy colors and various textures for fantastic expression of the eyes for different occasions.

There are actually two palettes from this collection. The first one is Bloody Halloween, which I already have, and the second one is Bohemian Soul, a palette of peach and neutrals which is good for everyday use.

The packaging is not as cute as the other Etude House boxes but the palette looks sturdy and slim enough to fit your bag.

You can use Pale for eyeshadow base too or use it for highlighting the corners of the eyes. This palette has a creamy Zombie Kiss shade which you could use as eyeshadow base or a lip color! The only matte shade here is Witch Hunting and it’s probably my most favorite shade from this palette. Funky Horror, on the other hand, is a purplish shade with pink shimmers. Bloody Burgundy is frost burgundy red which is also shimmery and the last one is Halloween Night, the darkest shade with red shimmers.

There is also a sponge applicator in this palette which is quite good too. So I used it to do swatches and to put eye shadow on my eyes.

I used Pale, Witch Hunting and Bloody Burgundy for this look. To make it last long, I used Ben Nye Liquiset. I’ve been using that for years now as it really prevent the powder from being smudged.

The colors are very dramatic, plumy, and dark. Great for special occasions and parties. For everyday use, use only one shade. Try witch Hunting. It’s matte and no shimmer.

Then I used Bloody Kiss on my lips. The texture is similar to a matte lipstick however, the color doesn’t stay there for hours.
